Reference Price – the price indicated in 2006 Park Resorts price tables for their Silver 2 bedroom caravans, at time of print. Note that we can not take responsibility for our accuracy, nor any changes to pricing that Park Resorts may make. Our reference price does not include the extra £45 (£90 at peak times) they apply in addition for an extra wide (12 ft.) caravan – as ours is.
Ferry Deduction – our estimate of additional cost for ferry fares that a typical family may need to find with our holiday arrangements, taking into account the ferry deals that Park Resorts offer. For more information refer to Ferry section in our web-site.
Park Resorts Ferry deal – free for car and up to 6 passengers - except for certain ‘popular’ weeks when a supplement of £64 required (holiday start dates 27 May, 22/29 July and 5/12/19/26 August).
Our ferry deduction is based on cost for car and typical family of 4 (2 adult + 2 children aged 5 to 15). Note that our concession is reduced by £64 for the 7 ‘popular’ weeks above, to match Park Resorts.
Basic Price – i.e. the ‘Reference Price’ minus ‘Ferry Deduction’. Our caravan is not brand new but still in excellent condition, very well equipped and large (12 ft. wide). Having taken into consideration ferry fares, we believe our ‘Basic Price’ represents a good competitive price, against what you would normally be expected to pay.
Guide Price – i.e. the price we’re currently asking in consideration of the ‘Basic Price’ with a reduction of 20% (rounded to nearest £5) during June / July / August. This is a bargain price for use of a luxurious private caravan with all of the site facilities normally available, as on a Park Resorts’ holiday.
Remember to consider the fares you will need
to pay the ferry operators to transport your specific
holiday group across the Solent. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Insurance Cover
Please note that though we have standard insurance cover for our caravan it will likely not cover any accidents / loss you may incur whilst on holiday. As a small venture we cannot guarantee compensation for unfortunate events. However, as part of your fee, you are provided with passes and rights to use of Park Resorts facilities. Please check that you are happy with the insurance cover Park Resorts provide (if applicable). As far as we are concerned you holiday at your own risk. We endeavour to ensure, and regularly check, that the caravan is safe for use. Please make your own arrangements if in doubt – do not assume cover you may normally expect on a ‘packaged’ holiday.
VAT
As a small venture we are not VAT registered. Please read ‘About Us’ on web site.
